Season 2019/20
Open Film Society
50th Anniversary
The Open Film Society first started showing films in late 1969. To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we are re-showing ten films from previous seasons in five double bills spread throughout the programme.
We have chosen to show films by some of the directors whose films have featured most frequently in past seasons. All of the directors chosen have had at least six films previously shown by us, and in particular we are showing films by the three directors whose films appeared most often, namely Woody Allen (22 films), Pedro Almodóvar (14) and Ken Loach (13).
