In a rundown Italian seaside town in a tiny shop Marcello patiently waits for dogs to groom. The local bully is Simone, a former boxer with a dog larger than Marcello. The two become involved and Marcello takes the wheel during a robbery, then joins Simone on a cocaine run. Frightened, the local lads plot how to get rid of Simone.
