Chloe, a former model, is referred to psychoanalyst Paul. They embark upon a relationship when Chloe discovers that Paul has a twin named Louis. As Paul and Louis begin to merge in her mind, Chloe investigates the twins’ past rivalry. She becomes convinced that a cyst in her gut is the remains of a twin sister from her mother’s womb.
