Samet is a frustrated teacher in a remote Anatolian village, eager for a move to a city. His plans are set back when he and colleague Kenan are accused of inappropriate behaviour with students. Samet and Kenan meet Nuray, a teacher in a neighbouring village. Kenan and Nuray seem to fall in love, but a triangle soon develops.
