After her husband disappears during the 1998–99 Kosovo war, Fahrije starts selling her own ajvar and honey, recruiting other women in the process. Unfortunately her efforts meet with the disapproval of the misogynist society that she lives in. Based on a true story, this was the first film to win all three main awards at Sundance.
