Farmer Jon lives in a very remote part of Iceland with his frail Mum and Bresnef, the dog. Mum requests that she be buried in her hometown on the other side of the island. When she dies, Jon sets out with corpse and dog on a cross-country journey full of surprises. A film in the tradition of deadpan Icelandic wackiness.
